Roger Daltrey of The Who threatened to leave the stage in the middle of a concert in New York yesterday, after smelling marijuana. The frontman told the Nassau Coliseum audience that "the show will be over" unless the person smoking stopped. "It's your choice, I can't do anything about it. I'm doing my best." Townshend Wishes He’d Gone Solo

What would The Who have been like without guitarist Pete Townshend? A half-century later, Townshend now says he wishes he never joined the band. He says despite The Who's success, he'd have done better as a solo performer.
